Made from white porcelain, each pendant features a distinct, organically irregular shape, formed by hand. The outer surface is left unglazed, revealing the natural, soft matte texture of porcelain, while the inner surface is glazed and finished with hand-applied luster: 24k gold adds warmth and a subtle shimmer against the pale surface.

Ceramic lusters are metallic or iridescent coatings applied to already-fired, glazed ceramics to create a shiny, reflective, or pearlescent surface effect. They are essentially very thin layers of metal dissolved in a liquid medium. Gold and platinum lusters give a crisp, opaque metallic finish. Mother of pearl luster is translucent and prismatic — it shifts with the light rather than reflecting it sharply.
