Handmade ceramic jewelry, shaped by one pair of hands

Clayometry is one maker, Monika, working from a small studio in Lithuania. The name brings together clay and geometry, reflecting hand-formed shapes that are precise yet irregular, catching the light and sitting differently on the skin as you wear them.

Every piece starts as raw porcelain or stoneware clay and passes through one pair of hands, from shaping and drying to firing and hand-glazing. Some pieces return to the kiln for a final firing with a thin layer of gold or platinum luster. Nothing is hurried, and no two pieces leave the studio quite alike.

Monika has been making ceramic jewelry since 2019, keeping Clayometry small-scale, personal and made at the pace of one person.

Clayometry creates handmade ceramic jewelry in a small studio in Lithuania, where Monika shapes every piece by hand from porcelain and stoneware clay. Earrings, necklaces and brooches are formed, dried, fired and glazed one at a time. Some pieces return to the kiln for a final low-temperature firing with gold or platinum luster.
Because every piece is made by hand, no two are exactly alike. Small variations in shape, edge, glaze and surface are part of the character of handmade ceramic jewelry. The pieces are designed to be comfortable to wear and easy to combine with everyday clothing.

Every earring, necklace and brooch is made from porcelain or stoneware clay, shaped by hand and fired in the kiln. Some pieces are finished with gold or platinum luster during a final low-temperature firing. Each piece is individually made, glazed and finished in Monika’s studio in Lithuania.

Wipe your jewelry with a soft, dry cloth and store pieces separately so they do not knock against each other. Avoid contact with perfume and abrasive cleaners, especially on pieces finished with luster. Full care instructions are available on the ceramic product care page.
