Blue Matter Small earrings are a study in quiet contrasts — the front face is covered in a transparent glaze and finished with mother of pearl luster, a finish that is soft and iridescent, it shifts subtly in the light and creates an unexpected shimmer of colour against the dark blue surface. The back is left completely unglazed — raw, matte, and natural. Two very different surfaces on a single small piece.
Each pair is hand-formed, so no two are exactly alike. The organic, slightly undulating shape gives them a natural, unhurried quality — nothing about them feels mass-produced. Light to wear, but with a presence that catches the eye.

They are essentially very thin layers of metal dissolved in a liquid medium. Gold and platinum lusters give a crisp, opaque metallic finish. MOP luster is translucent and prismatic — it shifts with the light rather than reflecting it sharply.
